When the glass unit mists up, this means that the seal has failed and is allowing moisture inside the glass unit. Unfortunately you can’t just wipe this away as the moisture is inside the unit and can’t be accessed.

Misting occurs when the seals in a glazed unit begin to degrade and can no longer protect the interior of the unit from moisture, dust and general grime. In a brand-new glazed unit, the seal is impenetrable and provides flawless protection for the gap between the panes. When this protection is compromised, it is only a matter of time before problems begin to present themselves.
